City Rescue Mission is a faith-based, non-profit organization that offers food, clothing, shelter and emergency services and residential recovery programs to homeless men, women and women with children in Jacksonville, Florida.

City Rescue Mission offers unique programs like LifeBuilders and the New Day Workforce to help people change their lives for the better. Their New Life Inn provides food and shelter for the needy. The Auto Center and Thrift Store are important pieces of their organization to help raise the funds to support people in need in Northeast Florida.

DLC Nurse & Learn

DLC (Developmental Learning Center) Nurse & Learn is a special education school dedicated to meeting all the needs of special needs children in a Christian, loving atmosphere. The program is based upon the idea that children with handicaps are children first and their potential is ours to discover. They strive to help each child reach this potential by providing normalized activities geared toward individual skill levels. They believe this is best done when therapies are incorporated into daily activities. At DLC, their attitude gives your child the opportunity to say, “Yes, I can!”

First Coast Women's Services

First Coast Women's Services (FCWS) is a non-profit organization which is committed to offering truthful information, emotional support and practical assistance to individuals who are facing unplanned pregnancies. Furthermore, they present sexual abstinence as a positive lifestyle for singles and by sharing the love of Christ they provide opportunity for healing and restoration to those who have been hurt by abortion.

Since its establishment in 1993, FCWS has been extending a loving hand to women, men and their families in the First Coast Region of Florida. The large portion of their work is accomplished through a network of dedicated, trained volunteers. They have joined together with hundreds of others in the First Coast who support them by giving time, finances, advice and prayer. They are working together to make a difference in our community, one life at a time.

Kairos Prison Ministry

The mission of Kairos Prison Ministry is to bring Christ's love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families and those who work with them, and to assist in the transition of becoming a productive citizen.

Well-organized and well-trained volunteer teams of men and women from the communities surrounding an institution present an introductory 3-day weekend, described as a short course in Christianity. This inter-denominational team of volunteers — both clergy and laypersons — works in cooperation with the Chaplain who carefully selects up to 42 inmate leaders to attend.  A well-organized follow up program is part of this ministry.

M.I.N.D.

M.I.N.D (Moving In New Directions) for Jesus is a non-denominational Church with a missionary focus. Mind for Jesus encompasses a broad spectrum of direct care services supporting men, women, young adults and entire families.  As a ministry, they focus on those who are bound, both spiritually and physically. Their mission is to provide job training and transitional housing for recovering addicts and alcoholics, assist convicted felons in the restoration of their civil rights, and provide counseling to deal with issues that contributed to their demise.
