The
following guidelines are for all mission organizations
or individuals wishing to continue receiving
support or funding from CrossRoad Church, UMC. Your
response to this request will be used to evaluate
our participation in your ministry. To minimize any
duplication of effort, you may submit the same forms,
reports, budgets, etc. that you prepare for your managing
authority, in lieu of creating new and similar information
for us. However, please understand that our evaluation,
in part, will be based on the thoroughness of your
response.
We
ask that all profile information be updated at least
annually and more frequently as circumstances or changes
mandate. We are required by the U.S. Internal Revenue
Service to keep on file periodic activity reports
summarizing all missionary activities conducted for
the previous period. This should include services
conducted, teaching activities and any other missionary
activities. In each case, the summary should list
the date and location of the activities. This can
be provided to us in the form of a monthly newsletter.
IRS
regulation also requires a complete periodic accounting
of donated funds received in the form of a written
receipt. As you receive support from CrossRoad Church,
please be sure that you comply with this requirement.

It will help us introduce you and your ministry to
our congregation at CrossRoad.
MISSION
Vision/Mission Statement – Please provide a
detailed description of your mission goals and current
projects: kinds of projects, who are being ministered
to, and where. Feel free to include testimonies and
challenges involving your ministry focus. We desire
to know about your efforts in missions and outreach;
gospel presentations; and/or discipleship programs;
as well as any other activity in which you are helping
to relieve suffering in the name of Jesus.
BUDGET
Please provide a copy of your current budget and each
updated annual budget; including projected funding,
needs/shortfall, expenses for ministry projects, travel
and transportation, housing and family, equipment,
administration and special needs.

We enjoy and appreciate current newsletters and updated
photos of your family, staff and ministry. Periodically,
you may send such items by e-mail to

SHORT-TERM
MISSION TEAMS
The CrossRoad Mission Team is very interested in opportunities
that allow for members of our congregation to be involved
in your ministry. These opportunities might include
involvement with a one-time project or a short-term
service-oriented visit. Please feel free to describe
kinds of short-term projects, optimum size for a team,
best time of year to visit, any special considerations
and details concerning travel and accommodations.
