BABY
MINISTRY
The CRC Baby Ministry gives support to women and families before, during and after their "blessed arrivals."
Each mother-to-be is paired with an individual prayer partner who prays for her, her family and her upcoming arrival. After the baby comes home, several meals are provided, and the new baby is given a new baby blanket.
If you are expecting a baby through birth or adoption and would like to be supported by this invaluable ministry, call Sandy Dukelow at 493.1256. |

PASTORAL
CARE
Pastoral Care is available for members of CrossRoad who are hurting from the wounds of life, confused about what to do next, or struggling to understand God and His ways. Our Pastoral Care people are church staff and gifted church members who provide Christian hope and Biblical guidance by listening to needs and connecting people with appropriate resources. This care is available by appointment during office hours by calling the church office at 448-1288.
CrossRoad does NOT provide emergency care. If you have an emergency, please call 911 and talk to the 911 emergency responder.
Pastoral Care has a list of community counselors available from the CrossRoad Receptionist.
Funeral and memorial services are provided for members who have experienced the death of a loved one.
Hospital and home visits are available to provide encouragement and comfort to people who are hospitalized or at home. If you or a loved one are going into the hospital and desire a call or visit, please call 448-1288 and let our receptionist know of your need.
The people of CrossRoad Church contribute to many local missions which provide food, clothing, shelter and other needs for people in distress. We refer all people in need of these basic life necessities to these ministries. If you would like to donate to these ministries, please make your check out to: CrossRoad Church and on the Memo line write: Benevolence Fund Local Missions. For a list of these resources, go to crcumc.org and click on Missions.
Pastoral care provides volunteer financial guidance to assist you in formulating or adjusting your budget according to God’s principles, to access the abundant life God has for you.
If you would like to speak to someone for assistance, please call our receptionist at 904-448-1288 and ask for Pastor George or a member of the Pastoral Care team.
May God bless you as you grow in God’s love and service at CrossRoad.

MUSIC
MINISTRY
The
Call of the CrossRoad Worship Choir
is simple: to GLORIFY God with dynamic, life-giving
worship. The role, however, that the choir plays
on Sunday mornings is immense. We have been given
the divine privilege of leading the CrossRoad
congregation in worshipping our awesome Lord Jesus.
Using music as a vehicle, the choir provides a
way for people to connect with Jesus Christ
as their personal Savior and Lord.

NURSERY
www.kidkonnections.org
Little
ones are special to God and CrossRoad. Children
ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten are cared
for in our Nursery during worship
services beginning 15 minutes prior. We’re
about more than changing diapers and eating Goldfish
crackers. We’re about giving preschoolers
their first impression of their Heavenly Father
while the older members of their families worship
and learn about God.
Our
Nursery Ministry is provided in Suites 1 and 2
for both Sunday morning services, Wednesday nights
and most church functions in a loving, caring
environment. Two's, three's, and four's rotate
through Bible lessons, art/music, snack, and play
time where they learn about Jesus, His love, and
God's greatness.

SMALL GROUPS
Our Small Groups program is currently undergoing a restructuring process to better serve our congregation in their relationship with each other in Christ. If you would like to register yourself to participate in one of the upcoming Small Groups, please contact Scott Crawford. There are currently new groups that have just begun and more scheduled to begin in January/February of 2008. For more details and information, please contact Scott.
The purpose statement for the Small Groups at CRC is:
“We are gathering to become a group of friends. Together as friends we become a community who supports one another in this journey we call life. We will practice some spiritual disciplines and serve others outside this group. Because we gather we will grow and others will be blessed. This group will make a difference in the life of each attendee and the lives of those we love. Trust the process, learn to trust each other, be trust worthy, and learn to love God in new ways.” |
