SERVANTS CrossRoad Church's Sunday Servants are a trained and specialized team of "hospitality ambassadors" who serve through making the Sunday worship experience at CRC as helpful, friendly and positive as possible. Our Sunday Servant Teams do a lot to make everything run smoothly on Sunday mornings. If you feel led to become a part of this ministry, please contact Scott Crawford, Community Life Pastor. Sunday Servants Greeters: CRC's greeters welcome every attendee on Sunday mornings with a handshake or a smile. They make a lasting impression and do a great deal to contribute to the familial feel of our church home. They also assist attendees in locating the Worship Center, Resource Center and Visitor Center. At the end of the service, they are there to send everyone off with a warm adieu. Hospitality Team: Our hospitality team is a wonderful group of people who work somehat behind-the-scenes to make sure that everyone who attends our Sunday service feels right at home. They arrive early to make sure that everyone is welcome and encouraged to mingle with other members and attenees by providding coffee and donuts between services. Parking Team: The parking team is often the very first and last impression attendees get of CrossRoad Church. By greeting every car with a warm smile and a wave, they start Sunday off right. They are also guardian angels of sorts as they are here to ensure that everyone entering or exiting the church parking lot is able to do so in a safe manner. Resource Center: Our Resource Center is the place to find out all kinds of information about the church and its events. It's also the place where members and attendees can purchase CRC worship CD's, The Word for You Today, CRC water bottles, etc. This area of service requires some training so that all volunteers are prepared to answer a variety of questions. Section Leaders: Section Leaders are located in each section inside the Worship Center. They are there to greet attendees once they've entered the Worship Center so that everyone in their section feels welcomed. Section leaders also take part in serving communion and passing the offering plates. Visitor Center: Our Visitor Center volunteers are dedicated to answering questions of new attendees and making sure they feel welcome at CrossRoad. They are able to answer questions about prayer, how to become a Christian and what the mission of Crossroad Church is all about.  |
