CONFESSION
OF FAITH
Confession of Faith is the initial entrance
into membership in the church when one confesses
faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
and puts their trust in Him alone for the
free gift of eternal life. Baptism accompanies
one’s confession, symbolizing Jesus
cleansing the believer of sin and being
raised from physical and spiritual death
through faith in Jesus’ resurrection.
RENEWAL
OF VOWS
Renewal of Vows is one’s renewing
of the initial confession of faith and baptism
after a period of inactivity or not being
on a church membership roll.
TRANSFER
OF MEMBERSHIP
Transfer of Membership may be from another
United Methodist Church or a Christian church
of another denomination. We recognize baptism
from all other Christian churches.

Attendance at our MAP101 Membership
Class is a prerequisite for membership.
Its purpose is to offer those considering
membership an opportunity to learn about
our vision, purpose, strategy and structure
in a casual, informal setting where there
is an opportunity for interactive discussion.
This 3-hour class is held regularly throughout
the year on Sunday afternoons. Call Carolyn
