Koinonia
“Koinonia” is Greek for “communion by intimate participation.” The essential meaning of Koinonia embraces concepts of community, communion, joint participation, sharing and intimacy. CRC’s Koinonia class seeks the heart of Christ for this special kind of community of worship as demonstrated through ongoing Bible study. Strengthen your faith and deepen your spiritual path when you attend Koinonia. This is an ongoing study, and you may join this class at any time. Please bring your Bible.

Wednesday Night Video Series
We will begin the season Jan. 18 with Taking Responsibility for Your Life. Wouldn't it be great, though, if we all took responsibility for the things we are responsible for? It's time to stop the finger-pointing and excuse-making and to remove the "ir" in "irresponsible." In this four-session, video-based study, Andy Stanley shows you how to take authentic responsibility for the things in your life. Beginning Feb. 15, join us for Judgement Call. Most of us are familiar with Jesus' instructions not to judge others. But what exactly did he mean? Are we supposed to look away when a close friend or family member is doing something dishonest or immoral? Are there times when it is wrong not to judge? In this four-part series, Andy Stanley tackles this confusing and often misunderstood topic. We learn the steps to take before confronting others and how to react when someone judges us.

Band of Brothers
The Band of Brothers men's gathering is relocating to Wednesday Nights @ CRC! We're excited about sharing dinner with the rest of our church family and are inviting any guys attending Wednesday night to join our fellowship. Beginning Jan. 18, we'll be starting a study based on John Eldredge's book Waking the Dead. Here is some info about the book: Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." That's the offer of Christianity, from God Himself. Just look at what happens when people are touched by Jesus--the blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life. In other words, to be touched by God is to be restored. To become all God meant you to be. That is what Christianity is supposed to do for you--make you whole, set you free, bring you fully alive.
But Jesus also said just before the stunning promise noted above, that "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy." He warned that the path to that life is narrow, and few people would find it. In other words, a battle is raging. And it is a battle for your heart. Things are not what they seem. This is a world at war. Each of us has a crucial role to play. In Waking the Dead, Christian author John Eldredge shows us how God restores our hearts, our true humanity, and sets us free. There is so much more. Do you want it?
