The Bible is the true, authoritative and living Word of God -- an amazing account of God's love and faithfulness to us, and a manual for the way we live our lives.
There is only one God, eternally existent as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is the living Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died, arose, ascended to heaven, and will return again.
The Holy Spirit is the living and active presence of God in us, empowering us to live our lives in a way that glorifies God.
Sin separates us from God, and apart from Jesus Christ, all people are spiritually lost and deserve the judgement of God. However, God gives salvation and eternal life to all who trust in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross. Salvation cannot be earned through personal goodness or human effort -- it's a gift given to those who repent and desire God's forgiveness.
Believers in Jesus Christ are united together in God's family, the Church. |

Our Statement of Faith is augmented by an historical article of faith known as the Apostle's Creed, which we recite regularly in our services: |

I
believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator
of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus
Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the
Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried; he descended
to the dead. On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven, is seated at the
right hand of the Father, and will come
again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the universal
holy church, the communion of saints, the
forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of
the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
